From an eBay startup in Victoria, BC to an enterprise-grade, multi-channel analytics platform — two decades of building tools for online sellers.

2003
Terapeak founded in Victoria, BC
While studying at the University of Victoria, Andrew Sukow began selling on eBay to help pay for tuition. Frustrated by guesswork around pricing and demand, he and his brother Anthony built the software that became Terapeak.
2004
Official eBay data partnership
Terapeak formalized a data partnership with eBay, giving sellers authorized access to historical pricing and demand data for the first time.
2010
Series A & multi-channel expansion
Terapeak raised a $4M Series A led by Georgian Partners and expanded beyond eBay into Amazon, Yahoo! Japan, and PayPal.
2015
1.3 million merchants
Terapeak's subscriber base grew to more than 1.3 million online sellers worldwide.
2017
Acquired by eBay
eBay acquired Terapeak in December 2017. Terapeak joined eBay's seller experience team, helping rebuild its analytics directly into eBay Seller Hub.
2021
PayHelm founded
Drawing on nearly two decades in ecommerce data, Andrew founded PayHelm with a clear goal: bring enterprise-grade analytics to businesses of every size, not just the largest sellers. The same year, PayHelm acquired ShipSaver from the makers of inkFrog, adding shipping insurance to the platform.
